Each June in New York City, the Motion Picture Club and Variety the Children’s Charity of New York host a cocktail reception to honor an individual with the “You’ve Gotta Have Heart” award. This unique award recognizes an individual who has not only demonstrated considerable success in the arts and entertainment field, but who has also maintained a strong commitment to improving his or her community through charitable work. Over 300 guests from a variety of industries attend the event to support Variety the Children’s Charity of New York.
