Campaign Recap

The 2013/2014 Wishing Well Campaign continued with the theme, “Transforming the Lives of Children Through the Arts.” Our updated campaign exemplified our mission statement. It featured various youth from our grantee organizations at work in their art medium and projected how their lives could ultimately be transformed through the arts.

Kick Off Dinner

The 2013 kick off dinner was held at Providence in New York City on November 6th. Close to 200 guests attended the event to celebrate a successful 2012/2013 campaign and unveil this year’s campaign artwork. The top fundraisers were honored among their peers and our dinner sponsors.

To highlight Variety New York’s mission, the theme of this year’s campaign was “Transform Through Art”.  It featured images of young people using different arts media and expressing how the art transform their lives.

Thanks to all of the individuals and theaters that supported the 2010-2011 Wishing Well Campaign. As a result of your commitment and generosity we raised close to $300,000 in donations!

The theme of the 2010/2011 campaign was “Open Your Heart,” which asked individuals to find it in themselves to support some of the communities’ most under-served children.
