You’ve Gotta Have Heart Award

The You’ve Gotta Have Heart Award is presented annually to an individual who has not only demonstrated considerable success in the arts and entertainment field, but also maintained a strong commitment to improving his or her community through charitable work. Past recipients include, Steve Bunnell of Universal Pictures and Lisa Bunnell of Landmark Theatres, Rolando Rodriguez of Marcus Theatres, Frank Carroll of Warner Bros., George Levitt of National Amusements, Craig Zeltner of Clearview Cinemas, and Charles B. Moss, Jr. of Bow Tie Partners and Bow Tie Cinemas.

2013 Event Recap

In June 2013 Variety New York held the annual You’ve Gotta Have Heart Reception in honor of George Levitt, Senior Vice President – Film for National Amusements, Inc. at Noir. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and supporters, the 2013 You’ve Gotta Have Heart Reception was the most successful to date raising over $200,000 for Variety New York.

2012 Event Recap

In June 2012, Variety partnered with The Motion Picture Club to honor Craig Zeltner, Vice President of Film at Clearview Cinemas at the International Center of Photography.  Over 300 Variety New York supporters from the film and entertainment industry came out to honor Craig as he received the You’ve Gotta Have Heart Award.

2011 Event Recap

In June 2011, Variety partnered with The Motion Picture Club to honor Charles B. Moss, Jr., Variety Board President, Co-Founder and CEO of Bow Tine Cinema and Chairman of Rave Cinemas at New York Friars Club.  The event was an enormous success and raised close to $200,000 to support Variety’s grant making efforts. The event would not have been possible without platinum sponsor Christie.
