Over 100 youth and their families from Variety New York’s grantee programs attended a preview screening of the film “Thor: The Dark World” on October 31, 2013. Disney and The New York Daily News partnered with Variety New York to surprise the children with an appearance by actor Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the film. The youth, dressed in Halloween costumes, ecstatically applauded when they realized the film star walked in to greet them and were eager to take photographs with “Loki.” Read more.
